Mad for Matisse
On the Art Journaling ning group I belong to a sub group called Modern Masters. This month the challenge was Matisse. Here are the pieces I made:
Using oil pastels, based on the painting "Woman in a hat"
Variations on "Blue Nude". I carved my own stamp based on the figure
also cut out paper pieces for this one
I call this last one "Mad for Matisse"-combining elements from several different paintings.

Love the Blue Nude carvings and the Mad for Matisse. The colors are terrific in them all.
